The 2nd of the Create for Life conferences funded under the EU Erasmus+ programme, was held in Lithuania on the 28th March and supported with delegates working across the Lithuania prison system.
Welcomed by Edvardas Norvaisa the Director of Panevezys Correction House for Women, the conference had an insight into the current situation relating to the resocialization of prisoners in Lithuania presented by Ceslovas Jocius, Acting Head of the Resocialization Unit of the Lithuanian Prison Department.
Robert Morrall, Director of Pictora Ltd introducted the concept of training in creative thinking and The Connected Economy as an innovative approach to support offender resettlement.
Each partner organisation from the Erasmus+ project 'Creativity, The Connected Economy and Offenders was able to give conference delegates a taste of the training materials developed by the project.
