The unique Pictora approach is effective in supporting and mentoring vulnerable individuals through engagement in creative activities.
Our Impact
Case Studies and evaluation reports allow Pictora to evaluate and demonstrate the qualitative impact of our work.
Our social enterprise work
Since its start in 2009, Pictora has constantly explored new and innovative ways to help our target groups of offenders in prison, ex-offender and vulnerable individuals in the community, to develop to their fullest potential, through the power of creativity.
Our work during the Pandemic
With the start of the Covid-19 pandemic in early 2020, Pictora started looking at ways to support individuals self-isolating in the community and those locked down in prison.
Made Visible
Made Visible is an innovative new project designed by Pictora, and supported by the Big Lottery, that builds prisoner, ex-offender and unemployed individuals’ employability skills, challenges the condition of Learned Helplessness (where due to past experiences the individual has learned to fail) and a lack of purpose in life.
Creativity, The Connected Economy and Offenders
Building social capital and employability through creativity and the connected economy to reduce re-offending.
Creativity and the Connected Economy
Our society and economy is changing. Traditional industry is being replaced by a Connected Economy in which the individual can prosper through the development of their Creativity and its linkage to the new Connected Economy.
Social Vaccinations
Funded under the EU Erasmus programme the Social Vaccinations project explored new ways to support individuals to develop to their fullest potential in our modern day complex society.
Pictora Works
The Pictora Works project, develops the employability and business skills of offenders and ex-offenders by engaging them in printing merchandise in-house.
